Keep in mind that this update has not been "officially" released which leads me to believe that there is probably another update in the works. "When" is the big question!
not sure what texting functions were available--never have received any notice of texts arriving

Volume is the same as before. It turns up a bit somewhere in the first couple of seconds, which is somewhere between 0 and 20 MPH. I don't ride my clutch, so I don't know if it's at 5 mph or some other speed. Coming to a stop, it seems to turn down at about 5 MPH. I have mine set for all 4 bars in the configuration screen. It only changed volume once.

I didn't try texting yet. I did go to my phone's inbox and all of the texts can be seen. I'll have someone text me this evening and see what happens. Of course, I don't respond, so if that is what you want to do, that didn't work in the last release. It will read the text to me while riding and send the auto reply to the sender. That is what I am expecting it to do.

I downloaded the update and am usually the first to try anything but I don't have any major problems so I'm going to hold off until I hear more reports. I haven't looked around yet but does anyone know if it is possible to downgrade to .4 if there are problems with this update? If it can be downgraded I'm more likely to give it a try.
