Here is what HD is telling me. They are 100% clueless
For your specific bike, the 1.17.5 is not an upgrade, which caused issues on your Boombox. To help correct the issues, the dealer will need to reinstall the 1.17.4., per our tech service area.
If the dealer needs assistance on this, the dealer can contact our tech service area.

The .5 may not be "intended" but my volume joystick has worked ever since I upgraded to .5, of course I lost the full screen GPS compass. roflmao
I would love to go to the dealers meeting at the end of the month and be a fly on the wall.
To add fuel to the fire about them not knowing what they talking about. I talked to the MOCO right after i downloaded the .5 upgrade, lucky for me i never transferred it to the bike. The lady told me to go ahead an add it to the bike because i could always go back to .4. but she said this with a question mark on her lips. It would be great to be able to talk to some one who actually knew what was going on and could relate that to us.

Nobody at HD knows what's going on. They're all mushrooms & that's how upper management wants it. Did face to face meeting with electrical design engineer on Rushmores. Clueless. Just clueless.
