Well, for me, I almost at 21,000 miles and has NEVER been to the dealer for a repair. (I took it in once to have the saddlebag pins changed under recall) Rear tire at 14k ish, still got the OEM front.
With that said, it is a Road King, less to go wrong and it does not have liquid cooling which seems to be, almost to this day as an issue HD is still working on.

I have a 2014 Limited with 25,000 miles with no issues. I have rode from Alabama to Key Florida, Blue Ridge two or three times, and DC. I love the bike.
34,000 miles so far. Had front wheel bearings replaced under warranty. I replaced all of the crimp on hose clamps on the twin-cooling system on my dime due to slight seepage from two of them. I did have the spark plug wire wear issue but I caught it early and took care of it with a wire tie. A deep puddle took out the horn once. I got a new horn under warranty but have since gone with a Denali air horn.
