Angry Another issue!!!!

So last few days I have noticed little spots of fluids on my upper right header pipe. And yesterday I noticed some fluid spots on my seat. I have looked everywhere for a leak but no luck. This weak I am going to check all the bolts. Any body else having any fluid spotting up your pipes. The fluid looks clear and no smell. It defiantly has got me frustrated

By upper right header pipe I assume your looking at your engine from the side and it's the front header pipe. It could be brake fluid as it's almost clear and does not have a strong smell. If the fluid is slightly slick it could be brake fluid and I would not ride the bike until you resolve it's not brake fluid. Go to the HD site click on owners and the recall option to see if your serial number is on the brake recall list. If it is have the dealer pickup your bike to check it out. Be careful brake fluid is harmful to paint and will stain clothing.

Take a clean white cloth and wipe the bottom and back side up a little ways on the air filter cover. See any oil? They all blow a little oil into the filter box and especially brand new ones before the rings seat in and reduce the blow by (air escaping by the rings into the crankcase) to a as designed spec. Probably take 3-5 K to really seat in to a minimum blow by.

Not sure how you would get fluid spots on your seat if its coming from the mc unless the bike is riding itself. Are you parking under a tree or a location that gets any water spray

If after a ride could be blow back from the steering neck of liquified grease. This used to happen when it got outside while riding my Deluxe.

Think I figured it out. It was on the bottom of seat and header pipes and believe that it is blow back from the new Air Cleaner took a white rag and found little oil behind it. thus the little specs from oil blowing off it. It is not much but enough to make me freak out alittle Harley is looking at it on Monday when they replace my air duct.

I can`t, or shouldn`t ride this weekend either. Nothing wrong with the bike, but the rear tire is worn dangerously low. Indy can`t get to it until Tuesday. Sucks!
