This is why I always blip the throttle when the light turns green before I start to let the clutch out. Let's the system activate the other cylinder before there is a load on the motor.

I came from a '12 Street Glide to a '12 SGS. What I noticed was that it kicks in a lot sooner than the '12 did. After getting the '12 tuned, I don't think it even came on in the year and a half since. This '14 EITMS kicks on within seconds at a stop.
The old ones relied on ET. The 14s come in based on AT.
Pretty sure that's just for the RKs, some of the 14s kick in 4 seconds after a stop when it is 80+ degrees out. He didn't miss this one, he stated based on his model. it's in the manual and clearly says the differences between the different 14s.

The information I gave (I edited my original post from where you quoted me for more detail) came out after the manual was printed, as it was misprinted to my understanding.
This information reportedly came straight from the MOCO and EITMS was changed in the 14s from previous years.
And then there's this:

Note that EITMS (rear cylinder cut-out) uses ambient air temperature monitored by the sensor on the left side of the steering head) to activate and deactivate at air temperatures above 80 °F (27 °C). EITMS is completely independent from cooling system operation.

Yes it is! MoCo released the corrected info in Service Bulletin M-1351, dated September 17, 2013. The fact that you were unaware is the fault of your dealer (see attached).
