On my Ultra, FLHTCU, I've noticed it has started occasionally sagging momentarily almost to the point of dying. It has never died, but comes very close. Always happens when the EITMS is active - hot weather. Its a very intermittent condition that usually happens just as I tip in on the throttle to come away from a stop. It happens quickly - just a quick drop and then it picks back up. I've also had it drop like that when just sitting at idle a few times. Usually though its just as I tip in. I'll be taking it in for the recall before long and will mention it to them. It sounds like a software issue to me. Hopefully maybe they will have an update for me.
Wondering if anyone else is seeing this issue?

I notice a similar stumble after starting cold. It really sounds like it is going to kill, but keeps running. My 2012 Limited was smooth at start up, except that it sounded like no lube in upper cylinders. This one doesn't sound like it is oil starved, but does stumble.I guess I thought it was because of different cams.
It may stumble in EITMS,but I only used it a couple of times.I find that it pings on acceleration or hesitates,so I have disabled.Of course,I live where it is cooler.
Mine seems to 'sag' when I add throttle when idling on one cylinder. Seems like a normal reaction, I just hold the clutch open for an extra half to 1 second to give the system a chance to normalize.
I came from a '12 Street Glide to a '12 SGS. What I noticed was that it kicks in a lot sooner than the '12 did. After getting the '12 tuned, I don't think it even came on in the year and a half since. This '14 EITMS kicks on within seconds at a stop.
Mine would have that split second hesitation when throttling up from idle with the eitms active. Now that the engine is broke in it is very smooth and no longer has the hesitation
This is why I always blip the throttle when the light turns green before I start to let the clutch out. Let's the system activate the other cylinder before there is a load on the motor.

I use my standard procedure...
simultaneously roll on the throttle and begin releasing the clutch....but do not let the clutch enter the friction zone until I hear the cylinder pick up. After a while using this procedure, I am now comfortable with it
