I tried it this weekend. It works. I'll leave it on. I tend to throttle blip before engaging anyway so I did not notice an issue. The rough idle when active is a little off putting and makes me wonder it it is adding wear to the live cylinder, but I'll leave it on for a while, if. It indefinitely....unless it becomes an issue.
I was crossing the border a few weeks ago and didn't realize it was disabled. Also didn't know how to enable it at the time. It was 86 and very humid. My right thigh almost melted..... I will leave it enabled. A quick blip at idle and everything is fine. Doesn't sound great when it's on but I'd rather be a little cooler and let it run rough....
I think it is funny you guys from all over the country are dinking with the EITMS and mine was disabled when I picked up my new FLHTK. I am in the Phoenix area, my air temp indicator said 113 yesterday. Maybe I should think about turning it on. Perhaps I will inquire when I take it in for the 1k.

I did a quickie run to Fountain Hills this morning and stopped a few times coming back just to feel it enable. It was about 102 at 930. Worth having I think.
When I took mine in for the 1K service, they turned it off for some reason. I assumed the mechanic didn't want it engaging while he was doing diagnostics.
