So let me get this straight. You think because 20-30 people come onto a forum and discuss an issue that they are having with their bike that a dealership should be aware of these issues and be more responsive? You do realize that the majority of people who buy these bikes DONT have the issues discussed in this forum right? No disrespect to the many who post in these forums and discuss their issues. When they have them they are real and need to be addressed but just because you see a few dozen people talking about one issue or another don't assume everyone who buys the same bike you have also has these issues. The vast majority of riders are out riding and too busy to read these forums but when a poster comes along and ask the people on this forum who never had an issue with their Rushmore they always out post the people with issues at least 10-1 if not more.

Its the dynamics of the internet forum experience. People are more compelled to come onto an internet forum and post when they have a problem as opposed to when things are going good. This gives people who read these forums an inaccurate sense that the problem is larger than it really is.

John,
The dealer should be very well aware of the spark plug wire chaffing.
I have called HD customer service and they too want to deny the problem but I'm calling BS. You must not have a Rushmore, if you did I bet yours would be messed up too. You must be a dealer.
