my dealer said they couldn't do it either citing some state law in pa .. however when i picked up my bike they did it ... they did not however list it on the receipt... mad a huge difference with the highs on
I would happily pay the cost, but dealer seams to think that it violates oregon state law... only way to do it is with the digital tech II as i understand it... Power vision won't do it, its a different module that controls the non engine electronics, think it is called the BCM, Body Control Module...
Next time i'm on a road trip, i'm going to find a dealer to do it...
SECTIME, our state is so far left it hurts... can't do anything here almost anymore... I just spent 5 days in your amazing state of Utah, can't wait to go back. in Oregon they are shutting down all the off road riding on public lands... I was amazed at how much public land is open to off road use in Utah...
Like others I had the dealer do for free for me on my 1K service, totally agree it lights up the bike much better for night or poor lighting conditions
If there is a state law for this you can set up the bike so that when you need to bring the bike in for inspection you can shut it off
Should be easy enough to set up a toggled by pass circuit
