I had something wierd start happening a few weeks ago. When I press the voice command button it beeps and shows the voice command screen momentarily. The screen only stays up a second or so and even if I try to give verbal commands the screen dissapears and nothing happens. Before this started say 3 weeks ago I have had no problems with the system. I took it to my dealer and they said they are working with technical support and waiting for an answer. So has anyone else had this happen?

 

I don't have that distraction feature on my Heritage.

 

I am having the same problem with my voice commands. Did you get a fix?

Same thing happens when I talk to my wife, I talk, she doesn't listen

 

Have the same problem have you heard of a recall or did you get the dealer " they all do that"?

 

I know that the cord in the helmet connection comes loose, mine doe it frequently. Try pushing the connection in an giving a slight turn. You can check this by using the radio through the head set, you can hear a difference.

 

So there was NO need in you posting in this thread then.

My headset is plugged in good and I am having the same problem. When I press the button on the left handle bar there is a beep, the screen will display a list of options for just a second and it goes away. It doesn't matter if I start speaking as soon as I press the button or not. There is not enough time to make a selection on the screen before it goes away.
