My plan all along has been wait to see if there are any changes in the '15 ' s...
For instance, see if water cooling will be at least an option for the Ultra or stay just Limited only....
I was able to add ABS and Security on my ' 13 without buying a Limited. Always preferred color scheme of Ultra's over Limited' s, but that's me...to each his own.
Was offered a Limited in a color I like today for 0$ prep and freight and $2000 of MSRP....has me rethinking my plan

Well grasshoppers have always been known for jumping long distances, I would jump on that deal and get them to add at least 1000 mile service for free. Never know but consensus is not much difference for 2015 except colors.. No matter what you will end up with a great ride either way..

I was thinking the 1 k service too. I do all my own after that anyway.
It's only a couple more weeks, but the deal could fade in the mean time. Tough choice as paying an extra $2700 total for the exact same color and a '15 on the title might burn me too. Guess I'll check a couple closer dealers to see if they'll at least match it. This guy was 80+ miles from home.
I've been pondering whether to wait for the 15's or not, but after looking at the 15 paint book today, I decided to put a deposit on a '14 Limited in Daytona Blue Pearl.

That's a very nice color too and one that was not carried over like some others. Congrats! Hope you got a good deal.
I doubt there will be any changes that are going to matter to you. One thing I like about Harley is they do not do big changes year to year, I think that is one reason why they hold their value.
That being said I love my 14 ultra, and that deal that was offered to you was a great deal, I would have jumped on it personally.

Yeah, the only carry over color I like is the Mysterious Red and Blackened Cayenne. But after having two dark colored bikes in a row, I wanted something a bit different this time. I've got a good relationship with my dealer and they are making me a hell of a deal. More importantly, they are offering good money for my trade, considering the flooded used market right now. They already have 3 black Limiteds on their used lot right now. Lol

I really liked the Daytona Blue when I got mine, but was really bothered by the...and I know this will sound ridiculous...lack of tank badge. I think for that kind of money you should get a tank badge, not a decal. Not sure why Daytona Blue is the only color without a badge.
