Default Minimum enclosed trailer size for 1 touring bike?

Pullin this with a Toyota Tacoma 4WD 4 banger, so, wanna keep trailer size MINIMAL. Will the 5X8 SA V-nose work with the reduced ceiling height, or do I really gotta go to the 6X10 V-nose? Price difference is minimal, but the 5X8 is 200lbs lighter + a good 6in shorter for wind drag.

That's cuz you're built like me. Put the bike in a 5x8 & there's no room to tie it down!

And you can't close the ramp!

At least go with a 10' long trailer.

Not to be a smart ***....

A 4 banger is not designed to pull any trailer. Buy a real truck first.

Like I said, it's a V-nose, so 5X8 is long enough to close the ramp. My concern is height + width. Obviously 6X10 is better, but pullin it with a 4 banger, the extra height, weight + length is a concern. If I was pullin it with a full sized V8 PU, I'd choose 6X10 for sure. Just how bad isit to get around the 5ft wide? Also, be usin a good wheel chock for sure.

I use a all aluminum Triton open trailer. About 375 pounds. Don't even know it's there. I think the bed is 5x8. Torsion bar suspension, 14 inch wheels, integrated ramp. Easy to pull, easy to store, easy to maneuver, easy on gas. My 2010 EGC has 56000 miles and is not a show bike. Never had any damage when I travel back and forth between S. FL and Western NY.

I would also be concerned about sway with a single axle trailer unless you use a sway control.
