Gave the Sport Glide a well deserved bath today. I noticed a lot of chips in the paint on the lower-right fork near the hub. Anyone else get this on theirs?
Wow that is significant chipping! I only have 2k on the clock but I do not see any evidence of that kind of damage on mine.
Yea...lots of interstate miles tend to flat-spot the middle of the back tire. There is still plenty of life left on the sides.
Same here (Texas). I was thinking of trying one of the touring tires with harder compound in the middle, and probably would have if not for the dealer sale.
I have the same pitting and mostly on the right side, mine not as severe @~4400 mi. I figure it’s because I spend most of the time bombing down the freeway in the LH lane.
ETA: I did purchase the vivid black touch up kit ($35) but not sure when I'll get the gumption to use it.

Sounds like we're in the same situation. I spend most of the time in the LH lane also. I've got about 6,200 miles on the clock now. I had a couple small rock dings on the right side of the tank after just a few weeks of ownership. I got the touchup kit for Wicked Red, but was waiting for warmer weather to use it.
Hey folks. Can I get higher riser which will work with stock clamp?
Yeah, the HD site has a couple, and I'm sure the aftermarket has more. More than a couple of inches and you'll want to look at cable length. The fat bars make the risers rarer though.
