Ok so I need new tires... I looked today and the wear bars are flush on the center of the rear tire (my front looks ok but I will replace it all the same). I wanted to do the H50 but different vendors are back stocked on the front or the back, so I ended up doing the Metzler ME888 from DennisKirk. I did not mind the Scorcher 31's but as someone else said they love to catch a line and stick to it. This can be a little nerve racking when you are lane splitting traffic at 60MPH+ so it is time to try something else.

Let us know how you like them. I've probably got another week or two on mine before needing a new back tire.

Will do, the reviews around the board seem very favorable. I will have them next week and then I have to schedule a time to get them mounted. Maybe late next week.

Yea...that's not going to work for me. If you can get them installed right away, then ride through a couple of rain storms, I'd really appreciate it.
I had seriously considered the ME888s, but many posts I read mentioned that they are a very hard rubber, which made me question their wet weather performance. Hopefully you will have good experiences with yours. They are definitely supposed to last a lot of miles.

I will get right on that.
As for wet weather that is the great thing about California I can ride just about year round, now fire season can be a pain.
Can't seem to find one to test ride. Looked at three dealers inventory and only found a used 2018 in Silver.
So ride it! No changes in the 2019s, and that fortune silver is a looker. If you can get a year-end discount, that bike will put a smile on your face. If not, at least youll understand why dealers cant keep them on the floor!
