I like that color on your bike. I was fortunate with my windshield in that it worked immediately without buffering issues. I’m wearing an Arai Defiant-X full face helmet, which I think has a lot to do with it because it is very aerodynamic. I’m also running mustache bars with desert dawgs soft lowers, which is probably helping with protection from turbulence caused by updrafts. I do a lot of highway cruising to get to my motorcycle routes, and appreciate the ride of the big tires and suspension on the FLFBS.

Could you possibly post a picture of your bike from the front, with the handlebars centered? I'd like to see what the shield and the lowers look like.
I'm wearing a HJC RPHA 90 full face. It's medium oval and very quiet. Don't know if it is as streamlined as your Arai, but I do like it a lot. I'll check out the Arai though.
I had a choice between a black 107 and this white 114. I've had quite a few colored or black bikes. The white is a first for me. It's growing on me. Thanks!

Windshield & soft lowers
iHodor,
Here are the pics:
The soft lowers are Desert Dawgs by Leader Motorcycle, the windshield is a Memphis Fats 19”. I easily look over the top with room to spare. The windshield is set to about the same angle as the forks. I would recommend getting fitted for size by a dealer, if interested.

I know its been quite sometime since your post but I am hoping you can help me with my question. Where did you get the forward controls, are they after market or from one of the other 18 softail's or none of the above. I would really like to find something that gets my legs stretched out a bit.
Thanks,
Thanks,

Picked up my '18 FB last April. She's a torquey beast! Upgrades to date include V&H Eliminator 300s, Tuner, Saddleman Renegade solo seat in brown, and 13" Twin Peaks bars.
Found the forum looking for options to swap out the factory license plate bracket with something under the fender. Any options out there other than the $400 kit previously mentioned? Not gonna do it...
Anybody using heel shifter on this one? All my previous bikes had em and I prefer them but concerned about foot room.
And thanks to the previous poster who also had a rattling gas cap! Gonna follow the recommendation and take a punch to it on the under side.

2018 Fatboy 114
Traded a 2014 ultra limited for the Fatboy. Ultra too heavy for my riding. I do a lot of 2 up riding and the Fatboy
rides great. We just rode up to Laconia bike week last weekend. I had a 2008 Fatboy before the ultra. This Fat boy is like night and day. The ride, the power, even the shifting no more clunking.
Harley hammock seat, cruise, backrest/ luggage rack black, 19" windshield, Eliminator 300 slip ons, Vance and Hines tuner, Avon grips, side bag.
