Hi Bruce, I had a similar experience, traded a 2017 Road Glide Special for an ‘18 FLFBS and haven’t looked back. These new Fat Boys ride great! I live in California now, but am from Massachusetts, lived in New Hampshire for many years, and was a member of Winnipesaukee H.O.G. in Meredith. Hope they had good weather for Laconia this year. It’s an awesome sight seeing all the Harley’s at Weirs Beach.

Hey Mike, we had perfect weather. We went to a Zac Brown concert Friday night and then Saturday to bike week. The promoters changed the dates one week earlier a few years ago so it ends on father's day instead of starting on father's day. And sure enough it is going to rain all next week. We had 3 days of 75-80 degrees, perfect New England weather. I bought the windshield for the trip, and haven't taken it off. The Fatboy rode great, we both love it. My wife never liked the Ultra.

Has anyone found a cruiser peg that works, or can be adapted for, the 2018 floorboard mounts? I really want pegs but don't really want an engine guard or mustache bar.

I recently changed handle bars on my 2018 FLFBS and I cant remember if my switches are supposed to illuminate. Can anyone check their bike to tell me if the shop forgot to wire up my switches. For the life of me I cant remember. Thanks.
