This is my 2018 114 FATBOB!!! It is the funnest bike I have ever ridden and I love it. This is my 3rd harley, and second fatbob (I had a 2013 model)
Mods include changing the derby cover, grips, levers, spark plug wires and plugs, K&N air filter, Vance and hines FP3, and bassani sweeper exhaust. I think the exhaust is the best looking on the market for this model. Future mods include a different cam and new turn signal lights.
I see several of these everything threads but not a specific 2018 FatBoy thread. Consider this a thread to ask questions, give advice, talk about things just coming out for our bikes like seats, exhaust etc.
Please dont be shy....post up! Thanks
Not sure if you meant to start a M8 FAT BOY thread, it would be more appropriate as this will leave out all 2019 and up M8 models. Be nice to have these all in one thread.
Either way, thanks for starting this one.
114 FB Black Tempest purchased back in September.Other than some minor cosmetic stuff like grips, Crash bar and sissy bar with back rest I did put in the Siren. Been waiting on a kick @ss exhaust to come out, looks like I might settle for Rinehart slotted slips for now. Will start blacking her out in the Spring and Stage II TQ CAMS by end of Summer.

Opps! Your right. Didnt think that far along. Sorry folks.
I just purchased a 2018 Fat Boy S and previously owned a 2015 Breakout. I have the sissy bar and pillion pad from that bike and was wondering if it will fit the new 2018 Fat Boy, since it has the same size rear tire.
Thanks
Anxious to hear results of this trial. Hopefully it fits - would open up seat possibilities which are pretty sparse at this point!

I have a new 2018 114 FB. Sometimes getting it in neutral is difficult when I am parked, and have finished riding, so I will just cut it off while in gear with clutch pulled in. When I go to start it back up, I will pull the clutch in and start it in gear. My question is, is it hard on the bike to start it with the clutch pulled in while in gear? Will it damage anything? I would rather start it in neutral, but if there is no harm starting it with the clutch in while in gear, then that is good to know.
Just signed the contract for a 2018 114 Fatboy yesterday. Vivid black. Mods ordered include edge levers, black drag bar, rizoma mirrors, Bassani black road rage exhaust, side license plate kit. That will be it to start.
should get it in 3 weeks, will post pics then.
18 fatboy 114 here. Mods are about done and I love riding this bike. The torque cam was worth every penny lol. I just put the brawler solo seat on today. The short ride I did it was comfy but It sets back from the tank I the front a bit. I can live with it for now.

Nice, cant wait to see the pics once you have it. Specially with the black drag bars installed. I think drag bars will look great on these FB based on the new beefed up profile.
