Depends on what youre looking for-I have the 15 wind splitter on mine and am happy with it. The recurve keeps most of the air from hitting you right in the face, it catches a lot of bugs(and misses quite a few), seems like its louder with a full face than a half helmet, and in the rain it really doesnt do jack **** Depends on your height and how much protection youre looking for. But its really low profile so looks pretty good, I barely notice mine

You don't need to keep it on the bike to keep the tune, you can just flash it and pull it off.
You only need to keep it on there if you wanna do auto tune or Glass Dash with your phone.
