My brother has the HD one but it was more then I wanted to spend. Got this sissy bar and rack off ebay for 1/2 the price. It's a knock off and granted the chrome isn't as nice as HD's but the average would never know.
i have a 2018 fat boy and love it! my question how do i get the gas tank trim under the spedo console off? I asked on this forum before and was given a parts page that did not help it showed me how it was supposed to come off but when i removed the trim bolt under the seat and the bolt on the console it did not lift up i did not want to force it and would like to avoid the dealership. any help would be appreciated.

Im not sure exactly what you're referring to, but this guy pulled his console and whole gas tank off for a beach bar install.
Fran, I have a 2019 Fatboy S and took my console off the other day to install a Mo-Door Garage door opener.
It was a Bitch if I can use that word.
The rubber under the console was the problem. It stuck really tight.
Don't do anything that will scar the paint but if you have all the bolts off really wiggle the console to loosen the rubber fitting under the console.
Hope that is your problem.
Does anyone know the size of the bolt for the rear sprocket on the 2018 fat boy?
I contacted surdyke Gold Star HD and the chat agent said it was 7/16 - 14 x 2 - 5/8?
But I'm not sure where to even find those bolts.
I want to buy the chrome sprocket cover, but the install instructions say do not re-use the bolts. So I'm looking to buy replacements. I cant seem to find where I'd get a set of bolts from revzilla, jpcycles, or other places.
