@Stootorial The bike looks fantastic with the tank swap. I really like the digital gauges. I personally hate the tank mounted gauges on mine, as looking down doesn't make sense.
What bars are you going with? I hated the stock bars and swapped mine out for Trask Moto bars with 2" riser lift blocks. Totally transformed the bikes looks and handling,

looks clean without the gauge on the tank...
not fan of the short pipes, seems to me something is missing...
Thanks! Know what you mean about the short shots tho. Will look at something else eventually but I quite like it as is.

That was my biggest gripe. I think its unsafe to
keep eyeing down at the tank. Its a head nod rather than an eye flick with these gauges now.
Bars, Ive got some custom 2 fat drag/t bars with integrated 2 rise and gauge mount. Will post pics when fitted.
I love the look of those trask Moto bars. Would like to put those on my 23 Fat Bob.
Need something about 2 inchs taller than the OEM bars. Would I need to install longer cables and wires for them? Also anything else required, or is it a straight change out.

It's possible that you may need longer cables and or brake cable.

Im told 3 height increase is the max you can get away with.

I installed the CJ Motorsports solid 2.5" risers shown here. With the Stock bars that's about as tall as you can go with stock cables and brake lines. CJ Motorsports Risers
The Trask Moto bars are MUCH narrower than the stock Fat Bob bars, so even with the 2.5 risers and the rise of the Trask Bars there was plenty of cable and wire length. You do need to get Shims from the stock riser diameter of 1.5 to the Trask dia of 1.25. Harley used to have them on the website but now they are discontinued.
I'm 5.8" and the stock bars were a bit of a reach for me. I really like the look of the Trask and I think the angles and web bracing look right on this style of bike.
Work in progress
Top clamp to fit to the bars
Heat shrink on wiring
V happy but may have to modify the Memphis shades fairing to make it fit as these are slightly narrower with a lower rise and the clutch cable hits the fairing now and prevents it fitting!!
