Does anybody know who did the 5 gallon tank swap? Im thinking I want to swap my tank and I remember seeing a post that somebody has done it with the sport glide tank..Does anybody know if that tank works and the year?
That would be me, picture down below, the tank fits but you have
to have your seat altered, there is a gap between the seat and tank when you get the new tank mounted
My fiancé just ordered some VH mini grenades for his 2018 fat bob 114, he called our local Harley and they told him these pipes wont allow us to have the passenger pegs. I wanted to come here and ask yall before we return them if this is true and if it is what pipes would you recommend we get he wants his bike loud... or if there might be a way to make the pegs work with these. Thanks
OK. Finally got tires and my 19" front wheel installed. Everything seems to be good so far with this second attempt. Took a short spin on the highway and it is smooth as butter! This wheel is definitely not bent like the last one was. Also received and installed a LRS front fender to match the thinner front tire better. As FLS103 stated, it sits a bit higher as it's meant for a taller tire, bit it still looks much better than the Fat Bob fender with the skinny front tire.
I love the look and how the bike leans into turns so much easier now. Next up is the install of a Dougz Bullit fairing and windshield. Should arrive on Monday.
