Default List of "Best" FXFBS Accesories

Hello all! Relatively new Harley fan here. I realize that this is a totally subjective question, but what are some of the "best" accessories you'd recommend for a 2020 FXFBS. I'm curious to see what other companies make clean, well built accessories for the Fatbob. Hoping for some recommendations for performance add-ons. Also would like to get some simple mirrors that allow you to see past your forearms.

List of things I've installed so far:
HD Cruise Control
Bassani Road Rage 2-Into-1 Upswept Exhaust
DOUGZ Custom “Spartan” Mini Fairing
M8 Fat Bob Light & License Kit
Quad Lock Phone Mount w/ Vibration Dampener and Wireless Charging

Default Upgrade instrument cluster?

Can the speedometer from the upcoming 2021 Sportster S (or even the Pan America) be retrofitted onto a 2019 FXFB? I realize that
  • Some features may not be available (like ride mode etc)
  • The hand controls will need to be replaced as well
  • The Pan America instrument cluster will certainly not mount in the same place as the one on my FXFBS currently - the one from the upcoming sportster S may - TBD
  • It will not be inexpensive - guessing the replacement parts themselves will be north of $1000 ish
Why?
  • I would love to have the navigation feature without having to mount my phone on the handlebar
  • The display on the Sportster S is bright and easily visible even in bright daylight - the stock on on the FXFBS is at times (depending on sunlight) not really visible
  • The cluster in front of the bar (on the Pan America) is easier to view without taking eyes off the road (the FXFBS is a peppy bike and I would like to keep an eye on the speed before I get pulled over)

I don't know but can't imagine that it would be interchangeable.

My suggestion: get a Garmin Zumo XT. It gives you much better navigation, doesn't need a phone, doesn't need a data connection, and would sit wherever you want on your handlebar for line of sight purposes, and gives you a GPS speedometer readout, and the screen is extremely bright. It seems to hit all your desired features, plus it's removable and transferable to the next bike you get.

I used to use phones on handlebars, and it's a bad idea for a number of reasons. And Android Auto is hit or miss for me in my car, much less on a bike. It took me a while to come around, but the Zumo XT is, IMO, the way to go.

And it'll cost half of what you're thinking you might have to spend.

HD puts a plug in the stock FXFBS 114 cans about mid-way along the drilled core. Forces the exhaust out the muffler core's header inlet side holes and back into the core via the remaining outlet side holes. Folks drill or punch out the plug and save themselves $$$...unless you like black then paint the stock cans with high temp paint. The Cats are in the headers as I suspected. The Street Cannons may have a larger diameter core....the stock is 1 1/4".

Edit: I searched and read some of the many good threads on Stage II especially for the Fat Bob and 114 engines. I'm going to stick with stock intake plus K&N element( which I had on a 114 Heritage this year), stock exhaust and cam. I want no more vibes which the Stage II as reported here can create, and the bike is plenty loud for my 73 old ears. Snow's on the way to Alaska in a few weeks so that's that for another riding season.
Does the Harley Stage II torque cam kit really produce more vibrations per the above poster's claim? I really can't see how. Yes, the valves may lift more at certain spots, but that moving mass is negligible compared to the pistons.

In my experience with the CR-480, it made my bike vibrate noticeably more than the stock cam so I would guess the HD toeque cam probably does as well. It's nothing that is not tolerable but the vibes are more noticeable.

Had a 2019 Heritage Classic for 2 years and loved the bike... usually ran it without bags and windscreen. The long travel rear-shock did a great job of smoothing out the bumps. Planned on doing some touring and wanted better wind management and made the mistake of trading it in on a new Road Glide. Of course, never did the touring and the suspension is atrocious. Add to that, I've been enjoying the backroads primarily so my needs have changed. Every time I sit on that Fat Bob, it feels amazing. I'm 5'9 with a 30" inseam. Anyone cross-shopped with the heritage (or come from a Heritage or Touring model?

Had the 5 up installed, am 5.10 and got hit with buffeting above 70 mph. Enough to make my vision blurry. Cut it down 2 inches, still a bit of buffeting. Took it off completely, and ride without it. With a full face, its fine, but cannot hear music or calls on my Sena communicator that clear. Still a bit of wind noise. But no wind on my chest.

Doug Z Fairing, Ricks adjustable levers, Ricks steel front fender

Relocated the speedo, had to re fabricate one from FXR Division, FXDR tank, the 4.4 gallons gives more range

Can't change pipes in Singapore, had the stock ones re cored by American customs, and de catted the muffler. It has a Thundermax ECU and an S&S 475 torque Cam. Lots of torque and plenty of power for me! haven't dyno'd the bike yet

I didn’t notice any more vibes with the stage 2 or my current woods 22xe.

WOW that looks freaking amazing @FBinSG !
Did the FXDR tank bolt straight up? Same fuel pump and all?? That's the best tank mod I've seen for the Fat Bob. Well done!
