Doug Z Fairing, Ricks adjustable levers, Ricks steel front fender
Relocated the speedo, had to re fabricate one from FXR Division, FXDR tank, the 4.4 gallons gives more range
Can't change pipes in Singapore, had the stock ones re cored by American customs, and de catted the muffler. It has a Thundermax ECU and an S&S 475 torque Cam. Lots of torque and plenty of power for me! haven't dyno'd the bike yet
Great looking bike! The FXDR tank looks great on there. I also want to know how difficult it was to fit to the Fat Bob.
Had the 5 up installed, am 5.10 and got hit with buffeting above 70 mph. Enough to make my vision blurry. Cut it down 2 inches, still a bit of buffeting. Took it off completely, and ride without it. With a full face, its fine, but cannot hear music or calls on my Sena communicator that clear. Still a bit of wind noise. But no wind on my chest.
I had the same issue with the Dougz fairing and 5up windscreen. With the 5up, it buzzed my head so bad at anything above 70 my vision was very blurry. Without the wind screen, it was OK but still got a bunch of buffeting that I didn't like. I'm 5'6" so that probably plays a role.
Another thing I noticed was the bike would tend to wobble quite a bit at higher speeds with the fairing on as well. I decided to just deal with the wind and sent it back.
My Thrashin Essentials arrived yesterday. Simple install and Im liking the look. I wanted something minimal and these fit the bill and I think look great!
Has anybody tried the Reach Two-Up Seat (Part Number: 52000353)? It looks like this one lowers you to the ground a bit, but also moves you forward. It would be nice to be about 1" or 2" closer to the bars.

I just installed that seat a couple months ago. It took a bit to get used to it but as it breaks in it very comfortable and really holds you in place when giving it the beans.

What exactly took some getting used to? And does it move both your feet and hands closer to the pegs and bars or just the feet closer to the pegs?
