Just being closer to the controls but I quickly adjusted. Hands and feet both closer to the controls as well as feet to the ground because of how the front of the seat is formed. Good solid foundation all around I'd say. I am 5'7".

Nice! I'm 5'6" so I should have similar results. Did you notice any less comfort? I'm guessing this seat has less foam since it puts the rider closer to the ground.
Actually, it is more comfortable than the OE seat.
Thank you! Interesting. I would have thought it would offer worse comfort especially over harsh bumps since the padding is .5" thinner. I may have to pick one up.
Just got some more upgrades done on my Fatbob. It's been a work in progress the past 3 years but here is how it looks so far. Painter screwed up my fairing paint so i have to take it back soon. 😫
Hoping to do some longer rides on the Fat Bob next year. I think it's almost ready.
Added cruise control, short windshield, GPS, Dakota Digital speedometer, Saddlemen seat with Alaska sheepskin cover, Captain Itch heat deflector, modified the Cobra luggage rack and installed a SHAD top case and a .8 gallon spare gas container.
I fitted my new 12 inch Burleigh bars a couple of days ago.... what a job getting all the wires through!!
I shortened my levers and then got them powder coated, also installed LED under perch turn signals.
I flipped my mirros but couldnt see anything apart from my elbows lol.... So for now they are back over the bars. Im going to find a smaller sleeker mirror to finish off the look......
Sent my exhaust heat sheilds off to be ceramic coated in satin black, hopefully get them back next week.....
Like your setup - been thinking of the GPR Stabilizer, but with my lowered risers (2") am not sure they'll now fit under the handlebar - if you don't mind assisting; what is the height of the highest point on the stabilizer above the triple clamp face on your setup ? The GPR site lists 28mm height but am not sure if thats to the top of the adjustment dial or the housing itself.
Thanks for the help if you can do !
Regards, JD
