I'd like to try and consolidate info for the new '18-up FXFB's and FXFBS's if we could. With this being such a popular bike and lots of folks making it their own lets see if we can keep things centralized.
Example: This morning I installed the black 114 primary cover as I did not like the chrome piece and the Blackmill plate relocation kit with black light standoffs and the Custom Dynamics LED curved plate frame.
Shot a few quick and dirty shots of the add-ons.....
Anyone else experiencing blowby on your 2018 Fat Bob? Mine has quite a bit of oil dripping from behind the air cleaner. Gets worse when I ride hard. I know coming from Sportsters that when the oil is filled above the half way mark on the dipstick they tend to have blowby and oil dripping out of the air cleaner. Does anyone know if this is the same on the 2018 Softails? My oil level is right at the full mark on the dipstick. That's how they had it at the dealer. Thinking of reducing the oil level to see if that helps. Any other thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Not experienced intake blow by but mine is getting dropped off at the dealer tomorrow for a seeping rear cylinder lower rocker box gasket. Seems to be a known issue.

Maybe that's what it is and I'm not checking well enough because it isn't really coming out of the air cleaner but rather from behind the air cleaner assembly and dripping off of the bottom of the air cleaner back plate. I can't take pics right now but will post some pics after I do a more thorough inspection. Thanks for the information on the issue. I was unaware of it.
Well, my seeping is right at the right rear corner of the rear cylinder lower rocker. It's pretty plain to see. Seems there is an updated part number for that gasket.
that is the Phil birch rocket fairing. I love it did exactly what I wanted l. Took the highway wind off my chest no longer do I have to hold on for dear life at 85.
