New FXFBS owner checking in. Ordered and installed straight away: Custom Dynamics LP bracket with integrated tail lights and LED frame + Mustang wide tripper solo seat (loved my Mustang in my 08 Street Glide), and the HD-Rizoma mirrors. Currently planning Stage 4 131 with V&H stainless upsweep and ventilator extreme while I take care of the initial break-in. Also a Kraus MX bar/pullback riser setup will be going on soon.
Congrats on the new ride! Very nice! And it should be a beast with that 131" upgrade!

Thank you, honestly been going back and forth between stage 3 and 4. Im accustomed to riding 180+ hp bikes and Ive got a 200hp track bike. Got the Fat Bob to just enjoy the public roads and get out of town, but I kinda cant resist having a beast on tap when the mood suits me.
After doing a stage 3 on my 08 Street Glide, its the bare minimum IMHO.
enjoyed watching your bike transform BTW, looking good
I stopped by the dealership yesterday to drill down and dial in some performance upgrades... When I left my house I was thinking Stage 4 kit, but by the time I got to the dealership, I said Stage 3. After talking with their seasoned performance guy, I pulled the trigger on the SE 122" stage 3 kit with ventilator extreme and Woods 22X cam. Parts guy said they were seeing similar numbers out of the 122" kit as the 131". After digging around the forum and fuelmoto I'm thinking I might call when they open and see if I can change my order to the 22X-E cam??
They already had a 122" kit inbound, and after putting down a deposit on the parts and labor, it's got my name on it. My V&H stainless 2-1 upsweep arrived yesterday. Hopefully the fuelmoto stuff arrives within about a week because I am so damn excited! I also added 4 hours dyno time to the order.

Reached out to fuelmoto and based on my riding style (like to ride high rpm) and exhaust setup (open baffle)... changed my order to the 22X-E
Well, I ordered and tried a Dougz Bullit fairing and 5 up windscreen. The fairing looked excellent on my bike but I had one major issue that was a deal breaker for me. At 70 mph and above the fairing caused major head buffeting for me. It was so bad that everything in my vision was vibrating and I could not focus on the road or any hazards that may have been in the road.
Without the wind screen, the buffeting wasn't nearly as bad but was still there. I am super bummed that it didn't work out for me because, as I stated, it sure did look good!

I have have Dougz Spartin fairing, without the windshield. I have no problems with wind unless I'm up around 65 mph...thats with my half shell helmet. If I'm traveling highway or going long distance I weat my full-face. I have a cardo unit & listen to tunes. I have no wind issues with the full-face even at 85 mph.

Wish I could say the same. I really liked it and it did help reduce the fatigue from wind on my chest, but the buffeting was just too much for me. I'll stick with no fairing.
I've been looking for a part for my HD off and on for some time. Running into either "out of stock" or "Shipping within USA only" Before the comments come flying in, Yes, I know I waiting way to long, bad time to buy etc.
So I remembered http://www.blackmillperformance.com/ from when I first started looking last year, they clearly state "USA only" but I figured I had nothing to lose to call the company, I also have a my own UPS account so that sometimes help "grease the wheels"
Long story short, great guy. Had the part (he makes them himself) had no issue shipping to Canada (used my account) and it was packed and ready to ship within 2 hours of my original phone call.
As someone who's business survives on us providing excellent service (no matter how busy we are) it is always great to see another small business doing the same!
