CAM: 2018 Fatboy S&S 465C or Andrews M462
As the title states...
I am looking for info on the S&S 465C cam and the Andrews M462 cam for the M8.
I have been searching for info but have had tough luck with dyno charts for either of these models.
Has anyone installed either of these cams in their M8? Any info is appreciated.
I cannot say I ride mostly city or highway. I live outside of the city, but still have "city" like traffic. I also live around the corner from the highway so a lot of my commuting is certainly highway. I also hit some open country roads on the weekends. So I am hoping to get some insight on these cams to see if they are an all-around cam for all around fun.
thanks!

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. Just when I thought I was decided on the S&S 465c, I saw the specs on the Andrews M462. It looks like you have the right stage 1 setup for the next move. I will send you the dyno sheets that I have once I learn how to do that. I will be talking with the tech at Andrews tomorrow. I question the source of the current data I have which is considerably less impressive than the unrealistic claim by Andrews of 127 ft/lbs from 1000-5500 rpm.
Nice scooter!! do you have the 107 or 114?

I have the 107".
I was able to find the chart of the 465C... Which was less impressive than I imagined. Was hoping to find other charts of the 465C but doesn't seem like many are using it.
Was also hoping to find more info on the M462, but also seems like slim pickens.
I'm about to out nunbers in a hat and select my cam at random between. 465C, 475C, M460, M462. Never cammed a bike, so trying to avoid the beginner mistake or regret of "shouldves gotten that cam instead".
I will say the 127 ft/lbs claim is impressive but I'm not after such a huge number. I'd be more into finding out if that can be detuned and kept at a more flat torque line. Like a steady 114-117 ft/lb throughout the powerband. I see a lot of the Cams are coming on late (2500-3500rpm). A steady 114-117ft/lb at 2k-5krpm would be great... But I suppose everyone would want that, right?
