I’ve had the flush caps/electronic fuel gauge kits on 3 past bikes over the years and never had a problem with them. Since the Softail doesn’t have a fuel gauge on the left, like many models, I did a little fabrication to make it work. (I like the look) I detail it here.

From Harley. They are both the fuel cap that comes with the kit 75327-09C - The left side was modified per the thread I attached previously. I ordered two of the gas cap and trim ring separately from the kit.
