My M8 Breakout smoothed out a lot after 1000k. You will never be completely free of vibration, and it definitely isn't as smooth as any inline 4 i've ridden, but it's a lot smoother than my Dyna.
You get around. 1000 x 1000 is a million miles. I would expect it to be broken in well.
You mean you can see out of your mirrors above idle. Huh. Didnt really know that was a thing. As long as it isnt shaking, id say its normal and plus its new.
A mate of mine here in Australia has just had his 114 motor exchanged due to vibration and he still has the problem, they are now looking at bolt on bits to the motor which may be causing the issue
So far my 2019 Heritage has no vibration, no distortion in mirrors. I am also still in break-in period. I test rode a used 2018 and didn't notice any vibrations or mirror distortion.
Now I came off of a 2013 Wideglide and the mirrors were useless at about anything above idle so I may have rose colored glasses on when riding the Heritage.
From your description I'd say you have more vibration than I have in my '18 Heritage 114. I don't recall any difference before or after break in. I sometimes see a little vibration in the mirror and car wheels appear to be rotating backwards but have never experienced unpleasant levels of vibration.

Damn...that's a lot of miles. 1000k means 1000x1024= 1,024,000
My Lowrider has no vibration as the OP describes, as a matter of fact, nor did any M8 Softails I test rode, so I wouldn't say "it's a Harley, get used to it". My sportster doesn't vibrate like he describes either.
Without seeing a video of what's happening, I would agree on seeing if it gets better as you do the break-in. Maybe the motor mounts are a little stiff or too tight maybe, too loose or bad mounts? I would put a wrench on some bolts to check everything.
