This isn't my bike, but is a great example of uncommon mods that can make this bike go a completely different direction than the typical "club style" you see a lot with the FXBB. I am currently working on sending mine in a similar direction, and this bike is a big source of inspiration for me. Particularly, I have some "discontinued" decals arriving today similar in style to these. I also will be doing a rocker and cam cover changeout, going to the Slim's bare steel looking tone rather than chrome or blacked-out, probably on my next oil change. Anyway, this bike is my main template for things to change to give a very different direction while still keeping it obviously "streetbob":

Yep. I think we've exchanged comments before about this bike. I really like the look of it also. so are those big metal covers at the top the 'cam covers'? And they are bare metal? I like that look.

The covers on top are the Rocker covers (2 ea). The cover in the center, towards the bottom, is the cam cover. The owner of this bike went with chrome, which looks good IMO. I am wanting to go more with the bare metal look though out of personal preference. Look at a pic of the 2018+ Slims to see what I mean. Chrome is chrome, and it looks good, but I always loved the look of just bare metal.
Dude, THANK YOU for posting good, clear, multi-angle pics of that sissy bar on an actual M8 Streetbob. I was having trouble finding a pic of them on a current gen Streetbob. I have one in the mail but wanted a good idea of how it would look. Looks GREAT.
Also, I dig your setup, with the exhaust color and handlebar style. How tall are the bars, and diameter? They look to be 12 or 14", but are they larger than 1" dia?

The sissy bar looks even better in person and quality is super premium, you wont be disappointed. The bars are 14" and 1.25" diameter. And thanks for the compliments!
Looked over this whole thread. Great looking scoots! I gotta new fxbr 107 with some goodies. My question; any of you guys thought about, or have any ideas of putting a tank mounted instrument counsel? I think these 2 have the same tank. Man, I'd love to do that. (withought dropping mega mega bux)

I think it will be difficult since the filling opening is in the middle, the entire tank should be changed with one from a Slim or so.
