Anyone Install the Handle Bar 12v aux. on Deluxe / Heritage ?
I thought that the 12v aux port would be plug and play .. that is plug right into the accessories port adjacent to the SAE lead for the battery trickle charger.
I hit the Harley parts site to check on the part number and fitment .. found the following statement .. I thought, "What the hell does that mean ?" Maybe "or" should really be "of" ??

Yes, should read “of”.
It likely delivers more current then the accessory connector alone can provide. The kit uses the accessory connector as a switch and has a direct connector to the battery for the additional power required.
