Default Heated grips...in June?

Feels like temp here in S. Texas was like 103 the other day, so I'm shopping for heated grips. LOL

Anyone know how many hours of labor the dealer will charge to put these one? Might could do it myself but I really don't have time as I'm getting into my busy season.

I looked at the guide expecting to see an estimate but didn't see one.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and ride safe.

Have them put snow tires on while they have it.

Will probably be the same as they charge for a handlebar install. 4-6 hours, depending on the model from what I’ve heard? I never paid for it, so I’m only basing it on what I’ve seen here. You have to pull a dedicated cable through the left handlebar. You need to pull switched power to that cable. Right side needs to be connected to pre-run wiring in the TBW twist grip.

Not a difficult job, as long as you are comfortable changing handlebars. I did it while I installed 14” Wild1 bars on my Road King Special. If you have stock, smooth bend bars, you may be able to snake a pull string through the left side of the bar, and using plenty of cable lube you could probably pull it through w/o removing the bar. Maybe...

They are GREAT to have btw. Here in NY, I ride all winter and with these and some Memphis Shades hand grip protectors. I use thin gloves and am perfectly comfortable. I hate winter gauntlets.

I looked at my invoice for the original build and it showed 3 hours for the heated grips in Sept 2018

I put mine on while changing bars that’s the easiest way to do it,if not it’s definitely gonna be a couple of hours labor. I did it myself.
