19 Heritage siren install
Within the last few weeks I read a thread on this forum about a poster who installed the security siren on a newer Heritage. But I can't find that thread and don't remember which of the many sub-forums it was on. The thread had pretty detailed instructions and some pictures. Pictures good. I removed the siren from my 13 Fatboy that I traded and want to put it on the new 2019 Heritage 114. I'm pretty mechanically adept but reading the current HD instructions for the install, it's a whole bunch of "refer to the service manual" in the instructions. Before I install the siren I will get a new battery for it since the original is now 6 YO and probably near the end of useful life. Based on what I see and remember reading, not a battery easily accessible to replace once the siren is on the bike.
