Default What battery?
What battery do the new softails come with, AGM??
i have to choose a setting on the trickle charger.

Dont use a trickle charger! Use a battery tender. A trickle charger is for charging, not for long term battery maintenance.

This battery from BatteryMart.com doesnt work. It barely cranks over a little then click click click. Put it on my battery tender let it charge back up then the same thing kinda turns over a little then click click click WTF. Can I jump my bike off of the car with jumber cables? I have done it before. If I remember right it cranked kinda slow on the car jumper cables. Could it be my starter? Also, is it okay to jumb off of the car or will it mess things up?

Don't do it, it will mess things up. Also, check the voltage on your battery with a voltmeter from any hardware store, the tender might not be bringing it up to full charge. Or it might just be the wrong battery, that's what it sounds like.

If you have a agm battery this is what you need. Bought it at Christmas!

Deltran Battery TenderŽ automatic/smart 12V, 800mA, Lead Acid/Lithium Selectable Battery Charger. Plug it in turn it on and walk away!!!!!!!
