The chrome one looks way better.

And if i recall correctly the breathers are under the bolts and the tubes are under that plate.

I'll bet you can hear the airflow with one of those installed!

Ok, I might have missed the series of post that took you from deciding not to get the 2020 LRS, to now, where it seems you DID get the LRS. Congrats!!!

How far up the SE stage 1 to 4 can you go with the stock air clean filter on the Fat Boy 114 2019? My dealer told me it's already a High Flow filter. I can't find anywhere any information on how much HP and TQ the stock filter can supply.

Stock Ventillator with the KN filter is good for engines running up to 120hp, it starts to hold the M8 back afterwards.
(According to Jord_HD, a harely tuner on Reddit)

Thanks for quick reply :-) So then a SE stage 2 HP kit would be no issues. The bike already have pretty good torque. I have the V&H Short Shots, and soon the VH Fuel Pak fp3 will arrive. Another question is. When will you need to go for the High Flow 64mm throttle body? Same question for the SE 10mm Phat Spark plug wires.

Note that this is with the KN Filter insert from harley, not the OEM filter that comes on it from the factory. It's 70$ from HD.
And you don't need the throttle body upgrade unless you're doing stage 4 or the big 128kits with high lift (above 475) cams, and stuff like ported heads.
You also don't need the phat wires unless you're running high performance iridium plugs, or the SE plugs.
M8 has 4 spark plugs in it. So you'll need 2 pair plug sets.

Definitely hear the intake sound compared to the stock air cleaner. Installed in about 15-20 minutes. Very well built. Only weird thing is that the lines on the cover don't look horizontal when installed. But seems like a bargain for only $150 street price compared to other cleaners.

Mine was slightly angled also but it matched the engine so well! But it's a huge filter surface, mine needed a tune after install. I've since removed it and it's for sale, I kinda fell back in for the OEM look and I'm only running a set of pipes.

Just did a stage 1 on my '19 FLFBS, part of that was swapping out the stock back plate to an SE back plate. I opted for the round opposed to rectangular for more jug exposure.
