BTW, was going ok, no codes, but checked yesterday and I had a B2161 code after a ride. Using all CD lights and rear brake light. Not sure if this is a big deal or not but it is a bit annoying to see them with all CD hardware

Please give us a call (800-382-1388) if you get a chance. There should not be any codes related to the Custom Dynamics products, and we would be glad to help figure out what is going on.

Hmm, I didn't initially get any codes when I installed the new triple play, but I only checked that once. Let me look again. Since that was the same same code I got with my previous triple play unit, I'll assume its just the nature of the beast with that unit.

Oh I'd ridden it various places, tried the brake a couple of times after installing, etc. and never saw a code. Then went out yesterday for a short coffee run while the 45 degree weather held and thought hmm, let me check for codes before I head home...that's when I saw it. Cleared it, rode home, no issues. Checked again tonight, still cleared. Go figure.
Dumb question. I have a triple play ordered (should be here later this week), but after going over the install I see it gets power from the P&A connector, which is fine now...but what if sometime down the road I want to add heated grips/seat, audio etc. is there a piggyback or Y connector that can be used with the Triple,Play and the Hd accessory P&A harness?
Well, you don't really use the P&A connector for heated accessories. When I installed grips on my King, the kit called for an accessory connector that uses power tapped directly from the battery.
But in any case I do believe they make Y connectors, yes.

A Y connector is not needed, you'll have all you need with the connector. It provides an extra port along with switched+battery connection.
I just noticed I am getting a B2151 on my LRS with the second, brand new triple-play module using only and all CD modules. Probeam inserts and probeam tail. Seems like this is inherent to the unit/sig insert combination as new TP didn't correct it.
Note that it doesn't throw a check engine warning light, the codes only show when actually checking for them.

Same here (all CD lights/brake as well), haven't seen B2151 but I frequently get B2161. I clear it and sometimes during a ride it's fine, other times I get one. It's completely random and highly intermittent. Rode for 30-40 minutes Saturday, nothing, still cleared, but rode Sunday, again for 30-40 minutes, have the code. I think the CD modules need an update for the 2020 bikes or something. I'll probably keep mine on the bike, but not exactly happy about this. Their lights are awesome, just this triple play is less than satisfactory.

Thanks for sharing. I am glad I didnt pull the trigger on this unit as I was close to doing it but now seeing this I dont think I will do it. Dont need no codes hidden or not.
