No. I spoke to them and reported the results as I described, and the CD guy I was dealing with took note, thanked me for my help, and told me they needed to get a 2020 in their shop to further diagnose as they couldn't recreate on the 2019 in their shop. While I was happy to help diagnose on my own bike by swapping parts, I do draw the line on riding to NC for them to experiment on my bike. :-)

I just checked with my FP3 today and mine is showing codes for rear lights too. No check light though so Im not too fussed. Unless anyone comes up with a fix. Ill just clear them on occasions when I happen to read them with the FP3.

Yep. If I didnt get the load equalizers and still got the codes Id just deal with it also. Having the extra two running lights is worth is in any circumstances.
I'm just annoyed I payed full price and I'm getting codes. I don't do my own service so I just have to make sure to clear them before I take it in so I don't have to hear about it. I'm working on installing some extra lights and EZCan canbus controller so I'm not sure if this triple play will stay long term.
Maybe if more people called CD and complained it might motivate them.
You can also request the load adapters if the codes bother you. They will resolve it.
Got pictures of what that rats nest would look like? It's not like there is much room, so I'm curious what it looks like. I've not heard from them when they opened a ticket for me. Guess I could ping them and ask about it.
Not sure why this thread did come up in my search results, but glad it bubbled back to the top here. I posted the following in the Electrical/Lights forum but received only one reply: Am seriously considering swapping out the stock front and rear turn signals, and the rear running light/brake light with LED's on my new-to-me 2018 Low Rider. Primary reason is to improve the rear lighting, as being rear ended while at a stop sign or light would be a serious mood hassle. I'm already in the habit of keeping an eye on the mirrors and fanning the brake lever to flash the brake light as cars approach, but still.
Custom Dynamics seems to be the the go-to for these, and I'd appreciate anyone's feed back. I'm thinking the smoke lens "halo" fronts, and either the smoke lens or red lens rears (not sure if the smoke lens rears are legal in Va), and I like the looks of their low profile brake light lens over that of the stock square lens. I'd like the rear turn signals to double as running lights and brake lights, and pretty sure the "strobe" module is a good idea.
I've read that the BCM can be flashed to enable the rear turn signals to act as running and brake lights. Is there ay issue with installing at home then riding it for 15 minutes to the dealer for the BCM flash?
Would appreciate feedback/education from anyone who's done the swap.
