The later TriGlides has the 30 vs. 32 tooth transmission sprocket. It helped the Trike get its fat as going, but at the expense of reving about 10% higher in 6th gear at cruising speeds...when I had mine I was wishing Baker, or someone, had a 7 speed that provided a taller top gear. But, the final ratio in the Baker was the same as the HD final ratio. I solved the problem by trading the TriGlide on an Ultra Limited.

There is some confusion as the 30T Trike pulley fits the M8 Trike acording to the parts book and a M8 Softail has the same transmission output shaft, but, VernDiesel is having fitment issues with it.

Harley changed the pulley P/N for the M8 bikes and so did Andrews. Not sure what is different about the M8 pulleys. They may just be narrower for all I know as the belts are 24mm wide now.

Hopefully VernDiesel will figure it out.

Ok. This may be the answer found on a French web page: https://www.jarrige.fr/harley-davids...re-secondaire/

They say the 30T trike pulley 83595-11 is too wide. Here is a before and after picture of them facing it back in a lathe with the finshed machining next to the M8 stock 32T pulley.

Here you can see how the pulley mounts. There is probably not clearance for that extra wide pulley up against the new Softail transmission case. The Trike transmission case is a different part than the Softail.

Yup, the Baker DD7 is intended to go with the 32/66 pulleys. You would have needed to change the trike pulleys.

Hulkss thanks for researching finding and posting that page and info. Hoping that saves the day. I have a guy that can turn it down in a lathe. Went to the dealership today to get both my stock gear and my 30 tooth but could not find the 30 tooth and the mechanic was not their or reachable. Might end up losing a week because I will be gone for work but will update as this plays out.

Good luck, everything I can find says this 30T pulley mod should work. Based on the pictures below and the parts book, the pulley splines are the same.

The Sportster rear pulley fits. Check out the link to "Drive Ratio Upgrade" in the first post of this thread.
You do need the shorter bolts to go with it.

OK, I looked up a 2107 Twin Cam Heritage and my 2019 M8 Heritage. Both use 66T rear pulley 40325-07.
Good question, I had not checked myself.
