looking at a 2020 deluxe in vivid black, any input on them good or bad? going for a test ride tomorrow. Will be trading in my slim s on the deal if I really like it.
One really good Pro about the Deluxe is that it's full LED lighting from the factory.
So no spending extra cash getting a full LED setup.
Street Slammer bars also look really good on that bike.
I rode several new Deluxes before I pulled the trigger on my FLFBS. I thought they were great bikes with tons of potential for personalization. The one thing that pushed me away from the Deluxe was realizing how much I'd wind up dropping on mods (pipes, wheels, bars, etc) to make it the way I'd want it.
There are some great threads on here showing what can be done with a Deluxe.

LOVE IT!!!
I've changed bars, floorboards, heel/toe shifter, wheels, seat, mirrors, gas caps, pipes, and number plate bracket and placement. More to come - air filter, front forks and who knows what else.

They actually dont make one for the new headlight. The trim ring is smaller than the previous model... trust me, I've tried ( It really does my head in!!!!)
Traded in my '15 Slim for a '19 Deluxe toward the end of the season. I liked my hand position better than on a Heritage. Seemed more comfortable. I've added Eliminator 300 slip-ons and a rack since this picture. Now I'm waiting impatiently for spring. If the bike fits you, I think it's a great choice. Good luck with your decision.
just came back from a nice test ride on a 2020 deluxe, all I can say is wow!! I'm very impressed with the handling and the performance of this bike.I realil like my 17 slim s but this new softail frame and the 107 m8 is a pleasure to ride. Just waiting to see what kind of numbers the dealer comes up with on my trade. I don't want to get beat up too much and hoping they do the right thing since I purchased about 9 bikes from them over the years.
