Default Fxlrs shock extensions and shock advice

So I ordered the bung king shock extensions, who else on here has there fitted and what do you think? Is it worth putting in an Öhlins rear shock aswell?
also how does raising the rear and not the front affect the overall handling and feel of the bike ?

A Heritage shock is 1/2" longer to raise the bike 1", it has 1/2" more travel than the stock FXLRS shock, 56mm vs 43mm.
The part number is 54000138, take-off shocks save some $$$$.

I raised the rear of my Sport Glide 1" with a Heritage shock without raising the front. Turning performance improved, but the bike is still rock stable at 110 MPH.

I did the heritage shock swap to gain ground clearance, but ended up going back to stock because the heritage shock had too little damping. The rear end was like a pogo. Maybe my particular unit was bad and that's why it was for sale on the bay.

I think in this video he explains why the FXLRS should have come with a tall shock:

Both the FXLRS and FLSB should have came with taller shocks IMHO.

And I like it the way it is. I wonder if HD did a poll to see, before they made their final decision. I could certainly see arguments for both.

I just picked up a Fat Bob shock off of ebay. Anybody know if the Fat Bob side covers will fit the Low Rider? I'd love to have the easy to access adjuster for quick load changes (saddlebads, passenger).
