Hey Guys, I finally got around to having my new Gas tank that I had painted and ceramic coated installed on my slim. Im very happy with the way this tank looks!! The paint looks very deep and The ceramic coating makes it Glow!! I didn't want to use the stock fuel caps so I went with the Flush mounted caps. This is the first time I had anything ceramic coated but so far Im very happy with it.

looks nice! any particular reason you repainted the tank? is it stock tank?
Yes, it is a stock tank. I always found Harley paint to be soft/scratch easy. I wanted to add a slight blue speckle to the vivid black with extra clear. I really didn't want any downtime with the bike so I purchased the second tank to be prepped/painted and ceramic coated. I had to wait 3 weeks between paint and ceramic coating.
Thank you very much FLS. A friend of mine already grabbed that tank quick for a build he is doing. He was my ride to Harley to pick up my bike. The tank never even made it home to my house LOL If he doesn't use it I will be sure to let you know.
