I just bought a 2014 Softail Slim with 14K miles on her. I just got the 21 inch windshield for it. I know the short bolt goes in the top hole and the long bolt goes in the bottom hole on the fork. Both bolts tighten down okay, but the washers and bushings remain loose on the bolts. What am I doing wrong?

Bought a leftover 19 Slim this year and I love the bike. Took my fairing off my 2001 fatboy. Bassani 2 into 1, torque cam, HD tuner, and blacked out the the engine and trans. Wish the bike had more power past half throttle. Put 6500mi on it this year before road salt came

Yea it is. This mount right behind your seat and to side struts and it is solid like a rock after installation. HD discontinued this item so it is no longer available which is a shame. One I got for sale is OEM real deal. Took me 6 months to find it. Ping me on priv if interested.
