Final help point for apes
Next, most people were saying with this they had issues with sluggish throttle and mine was working fine even ripped it around the block. So could it just need a clearing of the code?
FYI. Battery was disconnected during the install except when plugged in wires to double check turn signals then disconnected again
I plain to read the code incase its for something else and making this a complete waste of time. So really I am wondering about this green clip everyone is having issues with.
thank you
if you plug the battery in (why not just pull main fuse?) during install, the system will log codes related to missing fuel tank sensor and odomoeter.
hold the menu button on left control and turn the bike on - dont start it.
cycle through and see which module says YES, then hold menu on that to get the code or codes for each module - take a photo.
then clear the codes (hold menu again) after looking them up and ride a bit - be wary if you have abs codes.
Never turn the bike on when brake lines are not on and flushed, when the bike is turned on the abs modules pulse and could draw air.

Well I am new to harley and never done a swap figured just pulling battery would do it.
Ended up clearing and codes stayed away so thats good. Bike is none abs don't know if that matters to your statement on drawing in air.
And took it for a ride and popped rear tire so now I have lol.

Sounds like your set. Ride well.
edit, thought you said popped up the tire as in a wheelie.
