Experience with stage two. Hey guys just like the title suggests. For you with experience with the stage two, especially on the Milwaukee 107 motor. What has been your pros? Cooler temps? How is the low speed riding fueling? More RPM range? Able to run throughout the RPM range in each gear better? What are your thoughts what is your experience anything you can think of.
Did the HD torque cam on my 19 Sport Glide which is a 107. Its great fun! The torque is right there for you in any gear, easy passing without downshifting even in 6th, and when you open it up, you better hang on. A lot of guys get better performance numbers with aftermarket cams, and Id never argue with them because theyre a lot more knowledgeable than I, but I stuck with HD cam/tuner for warranty reasons. Very happy with the results. Id say its worth the investment, whatever cam/tuner you go with.

Stage 2 really wakes the bike up. My 2017 SGS had the H-D stage 2 with the TQ cam and it performed very well. Noticeable torque improvement through the RPM range and the bike ran very smooth.
On my 2020 I went a different route and swapped out the head pipe and went with a non H-D tuner and cam (see signature). I did the install myself so the cost of going aftermarket was less than what the dealer would have charged to install a screaming eagle stage 2. There's no comparison. This build blows the doors off the screaming eagle stage 2. Pulls very well throughout he entire RPM range and sounds amazing. Engine runs much cooler on my aftermarket build than it did on my 107 screaming eagle build. Credit goes to the catalytic converter being gone and a better tune via the dynojet. Yeah I voided my power train warranty but I'm okay with that. in a few years I'll be looking at one of the Fuel Moto big bore kits.

I really appreciate the time you took to reply to this. I am currently writing a 2020 Street Bob 107 with stage one Bassani duels pro street turn out, Ventilator extreme air cleaner, and a power visions map that the dealer installed. Im wondering if I should have the whole power visions read out like the actual digital box. So that I could auto tune it. I am getting some DSL popping the bike does run great, but I think with a stage to it would really wake the bike up. Seems to me with a good cam like I had in my 2004 super glide you could really wind the RPMs out. Right now it seems like this bike likes to short shift almost if I really run the RPMs out it sounds like this thing is just gonna blow apart or something LOL. I only have 670 miles on it so Im trying to take it a little easy on it still.

Also thats what I have is the dynojet Map. No cat, full exhaust from header down.
SE parts for my Stage 1 and 2. Don't have a 107 but I'd imagine the benefits are just as significant on the 107 as on the 114 based on what you start with. I have absolutely no regrets and am entirely happy with mine. Both motors have plenty of grunt from the factory, with the torque cam my FB has it to spare. I came close to coming off the back a couple of times when I first bought the bike, after accidentally goosing it when hitting unseen bumps, and before I got my backrest. I'm very glad I had the backrest on before I had the cam installed and the bike tuned. I can still snap my head back if I hit a bump that I don't see but the backrest keeps me firmly in the seat. I would not want to ride the bike without it unless I was super vigilant.
I doubt you won't be impressed, especially if you're after low end torque and choose a torque cam. The M8 motors are nice mills. Good luck!
My experience with just a stage one left me unimpressed. I don't think any stage one configuration will give you much of a noticeable bump in performance and the only benefit to a stage one is that it's a stepping stone to stage 2. Replacing the cam is where you really start to experience a noticeable and significant bump in performance.
Reviving and old thread. Do you need to get your bike Dyno tuned after putting in a Stage II torque cam? Or will the SE Tuner standard maps work as well. 114 with Rinehart slip-ons

Im loooking for a stage 2 torque cam upgrade, but potentially utilising the FP3. I have a flfbs (114) and Im investigating v&h propipe (currently eliminator 300s), monster sucker, torque cam and FP3. Likely change the pushrod covers too...
