Question about risers and and ABS brake cable / clutch cable
I just picked up a set of Drag Specialties 4 1/2 risers off of Ebay for my 2020 Slim for a decent price. I should be getting them later this week and was hoping to install them before the weekend. https://www.dragspecialties.com/sear...umber-06020409
I'm noticing now that some people say that you have to re-route the stock brake and clutch cables and some people say you don't. With that being said, my Slim has ABS brakes equipped so I'm not sure if that makes any difference in terms of the brake cable length. Anybody manage to make the stock cables WITH ABS brakes work with 4 1/2 risers and if so, how?
I should also note that I'm keeping the Hollywood bars on there.
12 risers narrow bars on my FatBob 114. Required upper brake line (ABS) and upper clutch cable. However if you route the clutch cable on
the right hand side of bike you may be able to get away with not buying the clutch cable upper part. Use a string to measure from the bottom of triple tree for ABS brakes or caliper on non ABS system. Magnum Chromite II is what I went with for the ABS.
