S has 114ci engine, dual disk front brakes, inverted forks, blacked out engine/exhaust, different rims, headlight fairing, blacked out console and fender struts, smoked tail light, black primary cover, think thats about it.

I've had my 2018 LR for just over two whole months. Also no complaints.

Thumbs up M8 Low Rider is a Solid Bike

I have owned my 2019 Low Rider for one year and have put about 5.5k miles on it. VERY satisfied with the bike; it is the correct bike for me because of the mid foot controls and its improved low center of gravity. No problems with stock rims. But, I have make a few changes.

1. The Stage 1 upgrade opens up the air flow to improve throttle response, acceleration and engine temp in hot weather.
2. Replaced the OE seat with a Mustang seat. Both Mustang and Saddlemen make solo and 2-up seats that improve personal fit & comfort. Plan to replace seat.
3. The OE brake pads have an established history of squealing, poor rear brake performance and causing excessive rotor wear. Plan to replace them with Lyndall Gold+ pads.
4. Check the height of the rear brake foot peddle. (See multiple posts on this subject.) Many people find that it needs to be adjusted to a higher position to effectively use rear brake. No big deal; easy adjustment.

Either verify that the 1k inspection had been performed or plan to have it performed before buying the bike. The 1k inspection is where all of the adjustments after brake-in get made and any initial warranty issues are found and corrected.

Good luck; I predict you will like the bike. The M8 engine and 6-speed transmission are wonderful.

Have had mine for 3 months, 1000 miles. Total of 5K on the bike and it is a hoot. Bought it with lots of extras and a Stage 2 setup with Woods 22-X cam. Great performance and fun. Best Harley I've owned and all the priors were good bikes as well. I do have the foggy speedo when exposed to sun for a while. OTW it is a treat. You won't regret it.

Composite (plastic) intake manifold. Problematic, but that is the case with all stock M8 engines.

I bought my first Harley in January which was an Iron 883. Three weeks later, I traded it for a Low Rider and haven’t looked back. Got almost 5k on it with no issues other than a bit of brake squeal like was mentioned earlier. The only things needed are add-ons and other things to make it more comfy. I’m very happy with mine!

Very happy with mine, too. Very easy to run and fun too.
Replaced the non-existent front fender. It can be rainy in Bretagne.
Next step : stage 1. But parts are not available in France at this time...
