Thought modern Harleys don't leak oil? Think again!
And here I was thinking oil leaks on relatively new bikes went out with Shovelheads Looks like the base of the pushrod tubes is leaking
107 Sport Glide with 5500 km (3300 miles)
Well that Sucks Have you recently done an oil change and overfilled it ,just a thought
No. I check it regularly but haven't needed to add any since it got its first service at the Dealer. There is no sign on the engine itself above the base of the pushrod tubes and it appears to be leaking there. The level in the oil tank is about halfway up the dipstick.
There is some oil coming from the filter because I thought t was a K&M one (SE Stage 1) and oiled it. That oil is pink, and the oil below the pushrod tubes is not. Still now that I've cleaned it all way I'll see if it comes back and where. The breathers are clean as a whistle.
If it keeps leaking I'll be taking it up with the dealer at the next service, but ultimately I'll be putting an external breather on it when the warranty runs out.

Reason: Not sure if the filter is supposed to have oil.

I'd say pink oil is still going to appear black on the engine case, it's not paint.
That oil dripped from your air filter is my guess. Think about a new air filter.
