Trying to pick
Im looking forward to the day you get your bike and have it modded your way. Weve been on these same discussions since I joined here and I cant wait to see where you wind up!
And man, I legit could have had my bike 8~9 months ago, but the pandemic hit and basically put everything on hold.
And the year before that, the judge on my case decided to be a total dickbag, didnt look at any of the evidence and denied my case, repeal judges were not happy with him to put it short. The over turned everything he ruled on. I got boned.
But now things are finally moving getting stuff taken care of and if things dont go sideways, fingers crossed for new bike day in spring.
I actually just picked up a new helmet and my helmet cam hardware. I went with an insta360 one R, and an EXO R420.
Thanks for the info as always.
The CR480 is the strongest stock valve lift cam at the moment across the board, probably the RS472 next, the RS468 best left side cam on the market don't care what's after that. The CR482 is supposed to be a better CR480 but I know nothing about that cam ,yet.
Plenty of info on the internet but there's more info riding bikes and swapping cams, till you find what you like. Going to the drag strip, smashing each other at the stop lights you know riding the bikes mate that's how you find out..
The dynograph they got on their website for the CR480 is showing 114HP and 129TQ in a 114 with a kromewerks 2:2. Seems like a good choice, but I wonder how it'll perform with the shorter exhaust sizes on the Softails.
Kinda reminds me of a more punchy EFI Sportster lope at lower RPM.
If you think this cam Is better I'll put it on my wishlist. I'd like to see more info about it though.
114HP and 129TQ on a 114 is pretty great.
