Wanted to add a lil something else to the OP.
Remember someone few years back ordered a set, installed them, only to find that the clutch lever safety switch wasn't working. That particular set they purchased fit but didnt engage the safety switch.
Just a lil something to think about when ordering hand levers.
Good luck with your project.
Yes I added shim as this was my issue when I replaced grips but I check after install and shim still does good job activating the switch but thanks hope someone else will benefit from finding this post later on.
Has anyone purchased the brake and clutch lever snap rings and have either an amazon link or the snap ring size so that we can order replacement snap rings?
I removed my clutch pin snap ring as carefully as could and destroyed it. I'd like to order a few.

I believe they are 7/16". Hardware stores carry them.

No, the new Softails are two different sizes. The clutch is 13/32" (same as my old Evo), while the brake lever is 5/16".
I disassemble my levers, clean and grease the pins every 5,000 miles. It's very hard to remove/install the clips without distorting them so I consider them a "consumable" part and always replace them. I buy them in packs or 50 or 100 (they're pretty cheap in bulk).
