I ride an '18 Deluxe solo. My replaced my rear tire when I got my bike inspected (could have gone another 1-2K). at 11,027 miles.
The tire I replaced it with was an American Elite.
That tire went 13,614 miles. I replaced both front & rear with American Elites.
I accelerate and brake harder than most I guess as tires last me about 4000-5000 miles. I'm now trying out Pirelli 66 Route tires. They seem to work fine and cost a lot less than others.

I am running those on my Sportster right now, looks like they will last, I already have about 8,000 miles on them and plenty left and they seem to get better with age, but I much preferred the Michelin Commander IIs I had previous for wet traction. I'll be going to Pirelli Night Dragons or back to Michelin Commanders on the next set. Still run the Michelin Scorcher OEMs on the LowRider, get 10,000 miles on the rears and 12,000 miles on the fronts (free tires, just pay the labor and taxes, about $250 front and rear mounted).
Commanders do not come in white wall. I loved em (the II's) on the old bike, however the deluxe demands white walls, I got 8k on the stock rear, 12 on American Elite rear, and still going on the factory front, (20k) though I dont know if it will make it to the 25k mark.
I've been real happy with the Dunlop Elite 4s in all weather conditions on my Sport Glide. I got 13k miles out of my first rear (on my second now) and have 22k miles on my front. I'll swap out the front on this next rear tire change coming up this Spring.
Very similar here with the stock scorchers, but I know we have similar riding habits. I replaced my rear at 12.5k and did both tires at 25k. While the front still wasn't down to the indicators, I noticed that if I ran my hand around the tire just off center, I could feel some cupping. Slight undulations. Not visible just by looking. Ended up getting C3's.
While they don't make the exact size for the rear of the FLSB, the next closest tire is only .5mm difference in height. I've taken one long trip and only put about 2k on them but love them so far.
